Brainstorming

This is a key phase of any creative collaborative project. In order to get to the great idea, you got to throw out some not so great ones. Collaborative brainstorming is a great exercise in peer critiquing. Lead in with asking students some good phrases to use in critiquing and some bad ones. Have them define what is acceptable. This will start every one off more at ease. Also, start with post it notes and whiteboard for rapid idea generation.
