My tip for MonkeyJam is to be sure not to set FPS lower than 5FPS. Also, the preview window always opens up at full image size. If you are working with larger image files, you will need to select a smaller screen size in the "Movie Size" box and then select "Render Preview" under the "Movie" pull down menu selection of the Preview window.
